Dancing With The Führer

Hitler's Palace of Entertainment and Desire

From Mirror.co.uk:
Adolf Hitler planned to build the world's biggest disco.

The failed architect even sketched out the dance hall, orchestral areas and restaurants himself.

Suddenly the thought of listening to David Hasselhoff doesn't sound so bad.

Forget the U.N., Let's Join the WTO

If you don't know what to do with your life, perhaps you should go to Toilet College and try to get a job with The World Toilet Organization.

If you visit the World Toilet website, you can learn about such things as "School Toilet Ambassadors," the "Happy Toilet Programme," and World Toilet Day. Just be sure to save your money so that you can attend the World Toilet Summit, which this year is to be held in Belfast.

Don't forget to visit the World Toilet Support Centre page where you can request information on starting your very own toilet association.

Of course, always practice Good Toilet Etiquette:

Oh Yeah. Him, Too.

I was watching Fox News when reporter Molly Henneberg was interviewing the Mayor of Baton Rouge in one of the shelters. She first asked about conditions in the shelter and what was being done for the people there. Then she asked the mayor about a special guest that was coming tomorrow. The rest went something like this.

"Well, we have John Travlota coming. He'll be going to Baton Rouge and..." said the Mayor.

"No, the big guest" Molly said.

"Oh Yes," he replied. "Oprah is coming..."

"No, no. The really big guest."

"Oh, The President. Yes.."

Hurricane Relief

I don't have to tell you about the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. We all know how bad it is. What we can do is give some money to those who can do something to help. I don't have much money to give but I'll be giving what I can. If we all do that, we'll raise an incredible amount of money.

I'd suggest giving to Catholic Charities. They provide long-term recovery work which includes "temporary and permanent housing, direct assistance beyond food and water to get people back into their homes, job placement counseling, and medical and prescription drug assistance."

Thank You.
